The business was originally started by Chris Ward, an experienced agent who started in the industry in 1968.

In 2007, Scott Waters Chris’s nephew took over the business. Scott has worked in all aspects of the stock and station agency including managing another firm. Scott also won the 2005 NSW Young Auctioneers Competition at the Royal Easter Show.
